Grady Monster's Birthday Part Uno

It's a month and a half after Grady's birthday, and I'm finally getting around to writing about it. His 6th birthday happened to be on the last day of school. Since we knew the last day of school would be a little hectic, we took donuts to Grady's class the day before. It was also the same day two other mom's brought in treats for their kid's summer birthdays. The kindergarteners were majorly sugared up that day! It was a good time though. Grady got to be the center of attention and get a song of birthday tidings sung to him.

The next day, on his actual birthday (June 2nd) we sent him to school and then joined him for his Kindergarten program/graduation. He did a great job and sang really well. During the "Big, Big Dreams" song he announced to everyone that his dream is to be a Boxer. We thought that was kind of interesting.
When the program was done we snapped a pic of Grady with Mrs. Neal, checked out Daxton, and then rushed over to the "Summer Movie" at Harkins. We watched Charlotte's Web and then picked up the babies.

For dinner we went to Red Robin, where Grady got to use his "Excellent Reader" certificate and get a free kids meal. Daxton had one too!

Since we were close, and it was Grady's special day, we went to the playground at San Tan Mall. The kids played tag and made friends. Then we headed home for ice cream and cupcakes.

OI think he had a great Birthday. I have his birthday interview to insert here. It's just at home in AZ, and I'm writing this in UT. I'll add it later. : )
