I guess it's time...

for the big announcement. We are having a baby! At least we're pretty sure we are- you never know what will happen. :) Right now we are expecting to have a baby right around the end of January. I am almost through my first trimester. We've seen the heartbeat of our jellybean twice and we're thrilled. We told Daxton and Grady a couple of weeks ago by having a family home evening on eternal families. We also told them that they didn't need to tell anyone yet because we weren't planning on letting it get out until after the big trip. So, after the FHE we rode our bikes to the park and Grady yells to the first person he knows- "My mommy has a baby in her tummy!" It was Dallin, the 13 year old boy who usually babysits the boys. Luckily Dallin had a friend with him and wasn't really paying attention.
Grady was with me during one ultrasound and he asked the u/s tech if it was a sister or a boy. She tried to explain to him that it was too early to tell. He was sad.
Grady was telling me the other day that we have too many brothers in our house and it's time for a sister. I totally agree. If we can have a sister then we can be DONE! My prediction- 98% sure it's another boy. We've even got a name picked out. 5 weeks, then we'll know.
