Easter 2011

So many Easter activities this year. We had an Easter egg hunt at Grandma's house.  She had a basket for each child and they had to find only their color of egg.  Tabitha had to find all the orange eggs.  When they opened them up they found a special surprise from Grandma- a date!

A little crack for your viewing pleasure.

Chris held on to the puppy while the boys searched for their eggs.

Hyatt needed a little help still.

Brandon and I took our kids to Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at one of our favorite restaurants, Brio.  It was good food and nice to do something different than we usually do.

On Easter morning we did our traditional basket hunt and Hershey Kiss hunt.  The basket hunt was a tradition of Brandon's family from his childhood.  The Hershey Kiss hunt is a tradition from my own family.  I think it was my dad who started it.  He loved Hershey Kisses and always gave them out to his nursery kids.  On Easter morning the Hershey kisses get placed all over the house and the kids get to gather them all up.  This was pretty much all the candy our kids got : ).  Here's a pic of the boys trying to knock a kiss off the doorway.

I'm not sure why all my pictures are so blurry.  Maybe it's time to go back to my nicer camera.

LOVE this face and those cheeks!  He got a chocolate egg and wanted to show it to you!

Taba is happy she discovered her pink scooter.

And a helmet...

It was like pulling teeth to get this picture of all the kids, but they are just beautiful and I am proud to call them mine!

Easter dinner at Grandma's house means we got to see Aunt Jessie and Tildy in their Easter finery too!
