This year, for the very first time, we re-enacted the Nativity on the Griesemer side. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. There was some chat through email the week before that Tildy would sit still and be quiet as baby Jesus as long as everyone was looking at her... which we were.
Here's Grady, as the shepherd, seeing the STAR:
Taba, as Mary, insisted on picking her nose and eating it through the entire reading. It was highly irreverent, but all of us parents were laughing so hard. It was FUNNY and GROSS, but she wouldn't STOP!
Tildy was happy as a clam just soaking in all the attention:
We definitely need to do this again next year.
