We love soccer. You might think that we would like to have our Saturdays back, but no. We miss hauling the wagon with the bag of soccer balls, water, four chairs, and three kids out to the farthest field. We miss the sun beating down on us. We miss the coaches that take the game too seriously.
Alas, the season has to come to an end at some point. And it has. The boys both had their last game last Saturday. Daxton's team lost, but Brandon was WAY more disappointed than Daxton. Of course, Brandon isn't included in the category of coaches that take the game too seriously (wink, wink).
Grady was so excited that he FINALLY got to have his "golden trophy". He's been admiring Daxton's from last season since it was awarded.
The above pictures were taken at Daxton's soccer party. We all brought our own dinner and the Head Coach brought cake. Brandon was Assistant Coach this season. They handed out awards to each of the boys and Daxton got the "Steve Nash Award". It had something to do with his ability to assist.
This is Grady after his last game with his very own Trophy... and snacks of course.
We are so proud of both of them for playing so hard and being great sports. It is so fun to watch them play and love every minute of it.

So cute. Mitt played on a friends team one night while I was in school and scored 2 goals, only trouble is he has to be 5 to actually play, WHAT??? He's scoring goals, I think he's capable. ;) So I guess our "season" lasted that ONE game. BUMMER. Next year. And your boys are really just adorable, I love it. But they are looking "big", they can't be, because were not that old, right??? :)
