Weeeeeee!

Day #3 started with business as usual. We went to church and then came home just in time to rush out the door to Nana's house where we were having a little birthday celebration for Daxton (and Grady, it turns out).

Aunt Britney made Daxton Beef Stroganoff because he loves noodles with white sauce. He also had, as requested, Blueberry pie for dessert.

The highlight of the night was opening presents, of course. We started with the boring one's from mom and dad, like new shorts and an r/c plane. Then he opened his gift from his Nana and Grandpa and it was a super special letter about how he is a super hero. I love that they wrote this to him because it says so many positive things about him that we don't always take the time to tell him. It's a good remnder to us. Here's the letter, but it's probably a little difficult to read, even if you click on it.

After the letter, it was time to open a present from my mom. It was a combined gift that was bought with the boys "in mind", but that she bought for Brandon and I so that we have complete control over it, wink, wink. Wii knew that they would have much joy when then discovered what it was. This video is for you mom. I wish you could have been here to see them open it.

Those boys truly believed they would NEVER have a Wii. Just like they believe they will never have a puppy, which is true. Don't get any ideas, Grandma!

We couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces.

There are several rules and regulations that come along with the Wii, one of which is they can't play it on Sunday. So, the pictures above are from Monday afternoon. Quite the workout they got. Daxton got so into his Tennis game that he even fell over once. Oh, and I'll have to get some video of Grady boxing because it is hysterical.
