I took the boys to tour Shamrock Farms a couple of weeks ago. They are the major dairy producer around here. Their Nana came, along with Aunt Tawsi and Uncle Talon. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much fun the tour was. I learned so much. They have 80,000 cows that they milk twice a day. Each cow produces an average of 8 gallons of milk per milking. That is so much MILK! We learned that once the milk comes out it is processed and on store shelves within 48 hours! AMAZING! The boys had a great time on the tour, and we all want to go back as soon as they open back up after the summer.
